This book is about my experiences growing up, my experiences fighting back and growing up to become the best that I can be.Growing up black in the South I felt that I had the cards stacked against me from the start, despite that I managed to get an education, join the United States Marine Corps and start a successful company.

Im not afraid of hard work either, I paid for tuition by picking up trash after school, delivered papers before school and then worked in a shipyard. I owned a boutique, ran and built a successful company from the ground up with my own blood, sweat and tears.There is a million different ways that my life could have turned out but I wouldnt change it for anything.
